not really. but it’s so gee dangd windy out there that I’m scared to open the door. egads! We’re supposed to get a ‘cold front’ tonight and our 60 degree weather is turning to 20’s. beautiful. brrrrrrrrrrr. anyways.

I feel better. Went to bed at 7:30 and woke up a few times but mostly just slept. Stayed in bed till about 9 this morning. Still stopped up and hacky, but not that nasty feeling like yesterday.

Working 12-8 today. maybe off earlier, who knows with this schedule. None of us barely have any appointments this week. Pray. Hard. for this paycheck. This is the paycheck that buys Christmas gifts. sad but true.

On a brighter note, today is CaliCousin 1’s birthday! (yeah. yesterday was 2’s. funny that way) He’s ten years younger than I am but our sense of humor is EXACTLY ALIKE! I fear that we’d be lethal should we live closer. So Here To You Mr.Man. I remember driving down to Texas and holding you all weekend long. So glad that’s over. Would look really awkward if we tried it now! Happy birthday Cuz!! Love you!!!

I’m making a chicken pot pie. In the oven. Not microwave. then I’m taking a fistfull of lil blue pills. (not viagra) and hitting the sack. Apparently with Kikimama, who has joined herself to my body. If she could suckle, I believe she’d give it a try. What the hell???

Back to work today. Everyone cross fingers that I get some work this week. Just focus. I have faith it will come…

So last night, I decided to not go to Monday night comedy and stayed home. MGirl and I went to Wal-Mart and Lowes and got lights and a tree. Yes, I know, I said yesterday that I had no money. I still don’t. But I found an old gift card that I never used and got my tree for 24 bucks! Wahoooooo!!! so by not going to the club for comedy, and not spending 25 bucks on drinks and snacks, I bought a tree. and my house smells soooooo good.

it has 900 lights on it. it’s gorgeous.

I have some holiday stuff out at the Frontier that I may go get this evening, and the redhead has said he’d help me put the lights on the front of the house then all will be complete.

Can I just tell you that December is already filling up? Ca-ray-zee. But it’s just the way it is. Life is for living. And going and doing and experiencing and warm kitties curled up in your lap.

Are your animals extra needy as of late? I swear, KikiMama is in my lap all the time. Runs to get in my lap when i sit down. Sammy is there if she isn’t and Stormy a.k.a. Jabba the Hut is inside at night and just purrrrrs and loves…is it the weather? I don’t know but I love it!

Tomorrow is Dad’s surgery. I think we find out the times and details today. Tomorrow is also my 3 year anniversary at work. How long? THREE YEARS! which means I graduated three years ago TODAY.

Well, we all made it thru NaBloPoMo this year. I posted everyday, though sometimes my days ended with a timestamp of the next morning. so what. It was good this year, to go, to read daily. Nice.

And now we sit here. December first. World Aids Day. Take a moment today, to remember, to reflect. Our friends, our family. Us.

I’ve taken yesterday and today with ease and side of sloth. Yesterday I made a big ole pot of Gypsy Posole that I’ve eaten on all day long. I did go up to watch the Colts, but we left at halftime. Tired. needed couch. I napped and snacked all day yesterday and put myself into the bed around 9:30 or so. felt good. Slept late again today and have done some good stuff. Cleaned out the garage, however my garage door opener is broken. I’ll have to do the manual open and close until I can get some $ to fix it or get a new one. It’s ancient so I can see a total replacement in my future. Anyways, it’s going to be ass funk cold here this week, so I made some room for my car. Also did some laundry, hung up tons of clothes in my closet, ran the dyson, moved my furniture around to make room for the Christmas tree! I’ve begun moving and removing the knick knacks to make room for the holiday. Went to get my paycheck and put it in the bank.

Gah.

I’m hoping I still have tons of lights out in storage,because times are tough kids. after the mortgage…we get to pick out one or two lucky bills that get paid and hope for tips this week! As it stands now, I’ve got one or two appointments a day. that’s it.

depressing. really really depressing. But it picked up right before Thanksgiving, so cross fingers.

I just hate not having the money to go get a tree and some lights. boo. flop. maybe tomorrow, though. We will see what the day brings.

ahhh. typing makes me sleepy. thinking I will move to the couch for a nap. last day of vaca, ya know.
