Ice Day

Didn’t do much today, considering I drank my weight in vodka last night. But what fun can an ice storm be w/o a little tipsy to go with it? I had the cauliflower ear from talking on the phone all night long. oh well. Got up today to more ice/rain/ice/sleet/nasty. spent most of it on the couch watching food tv, some football, the lastest Harry Potter movie I had missed and the Family Stone. I LOVE this movie. It’s been out forever, but it’s on HBO about every other day this last week or so. I watch it every single time I flip to it. It’s a hard movie to watch, but a good one. I love the family. I love the house. I love the big Christmas. I love the rage and the passion of it all. I wish for that….that house full of family, bustling and fighting and laughing and loving. I love the house itself, rambling porch, spacious….it’s a movie set. true. But I love it.

Forgot to take my claritin this a.m. becuse I am totally off a schedule, so I’ve been sneezing my fool head off all day. Naps and cats and food and movies. Man, it just doesn’t get better that that.
