Biggest Loser

It’s my guilty pleasure.

yeah, I know. You’ve all heard my soapbox about reality tv. but I cannot help myself. It’s amazing the transformations in these people’s lives.

So…I’m watching. I roasted a big plate of veggies for supper and am watching. I myself weigh in tomorrow. I feel good about it. I would have liked more workouts…but it’s ok. it will be fine. This is a lifetime battle. I’ll be happy with anything…

so are you roasting veggies? it’s my favorite thing. I just throw a crapload of anything on a cookie sheet, and put it in a 450 degree oven. Brussel sprouts (thanks to Kizz. so good!) asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, shrooms, onions. toss in some olive oil and seasonings and mmmmm mmmmm good. my favorite dinner. I have eaten it almost every night.

Ok. I’m freezing my bippy off. time to put on soft clothes turn up the heat and maybe do some push ups in the floor.

  1. Wow! You make me feel awfully lazy, and those veggies actually sound good…but like your MeMe you have the magic touch with seasonings…my veggies would taste like, well you know, just grass…You are going to look great this summer…Mamo

  2. I love the Biggest Loser. I usually walk on the treadmill while it’s on.I have one veggie that I never warmed to and that is brussel sprouts. But you’re the third person to mention the yumminess of roasted brussels (heard it on Splendid Table too), that I just might give it a try.

  3. Cindy, I don’t remember ever eating them before. If I did I believe they were prolly mushy. The roasting though? so good. nice and crisp on the outside and soft like a baby cabbage on the inside! MMMM MMM GOOD! Mom, you can do it too. just throw some salt and pepper over it! SO GOOD!
