Is it just me….or is this sign freakin hysterical???? I think I horked up my coffee when I came across it! I post it because today is set to be one long ride into funkytown for us here. Spring weather galore! I think we in the metro area should be fine. Wet. But fine. Southern parts are set for some rockin’ and rollin’.

Sis is scheduled to launch Wonderbaby next Wednesday, the 9th! Halakaleem!!!!! She went in for her appointment this morning, and we were hoping she had already started. She’s been having consistent contractions as of the past week or so…anyway, flop. Zilch. Nope. Nada. Nary a centi nor a meter. So, given that, it looks like she really won’t go earlier. April 9!!! Both Wonderkids will have odd number birthdays! That works for me.

Just glad to know. I won’t get to take off work and be there and frankly kids, that is breaking my heart. Breaking. My. Heart. I was there for Wonderboy. not the actual delivery and blooy gooey of it all, but THERE!! I wiped her hair during the sweatiness of the ickiness of it all. I held her hand and rubbed her back and massaged her arms. I am sad. Sigh. But life is what it is and she will be fine and dandy and I have a full book and will head out as soon as I’m done with my last one on Saturday. I blocked out a little early. She will be surrounded by all the ‘rents and Wonderboy will have Bonusmom (who returns from Aruba on Sunday) so it’ll be fine.

I just feel a little wonky.

Today was a good day. I found out some great news….I’m getting a promotion/raise! Level 4 here I come!! This means a few things. One, my prices go up five bucks. Men/two bucks. This will make it a little easier to reach higher commissions! It also means that I get flex-scheduling. I still am responsible for working at least 36 hours a week,(i usually work somewhere between 40 and 45 hours. On the books 45 hours but take an hour to weigh in every week.) however if I don’t have an appt until 10:30, I don’t have to come in until then. Or, say I have a full book, but finish early, I get to leave. I don’t have to stay until the “required” time. Halakaleem!!!! A little freedom!!! I’m happy about that! It goes into effect on May 16. Good stuff.

Finally got to gift Spence his birthday pressie. I was a shitty friend and didn’t get it ordered in time for his actual day (last Tuesday) and then we’ve been missing each other this week, so I tracked him down at dinner with two of the governor’s state troopers and crashed! I got him a few comedy dvd’s. Lewis Black and Eddie Izzard. SLURP. BOTH OF THEM SLURP!!! You have no idea how hard it was not to bust the cellophane off those babys and just soak up hours of funny ha ha’s!! (do you have a flag? ciao!) hahahahahahahahaha. I love that transvestite! I also threw in some impulse buys I had a Walgreen’s…candy, jr mints, yo-yo. I think he liked it.

Home now, to watch the ep of Law and Order I’ve ALREADY SEEN!!! but I just saw a commercial about my boyfriend Jesse L Martin leaving in three weeks. Those who watch, splain please. and tell me they aren’t going to kill him. Clemo, remember me you and Jason watching the last Jimmy Smitts ep of NYPD Blue? Fuck around that was brutal. So hopefully they won’t kill him.

I weigh in tomorrow…last week was down 1.4 and I don’t feel grand about tomorrow. Feeling a little less than grand. We’ll see. I’m so effing close to getting over the horrible number that it’s almost painful to see…Kizz is rocking out on her adventure. talk about living the dream! Inspiring!

holy shit. I haven’t seen this much crying between a group of people since the last day of tour in Saginaw! Ridiculous, I am. But they just did a freakin triathalon and now they have to kick somebody off and they’ve come so far, and lost so much and have new lives now and I am a total mess. THIS is why I hate reality tv. (there are many more reasons) And the only reality tv I really watch is extreme home makeover, (cue tears) or this stuff. Thank GOD, Rob and Big don’t make me cry or I’d have to take a nervous pill.

How excited are we that my boyfriend Dule Hill is coming to NBC with Psych as well as Monk! That makes me very happy, and hopefully I’ll get to jump onto the bandwagon. I have only seen one ep of each show but know it’s good stuff.

Went by my house and did some more painting, got the office done. Now as far as trim work and doors go, I have two doors in the office and the guest room. The guest room, I have to empty out and cover the floors…..

Saturday night was SPENCE NIGHT!!! He was mc’ing at the comedy club and about 11 of us gathered to go laugh and support. He was hysterical. Spot on with the funny ha ha’s. We talked for awhile after the show then home I went. I had no idea it was 1:30 a.m. when we left! Time flys.

Sunday morning got up and brunched it up with M’Lynn at Classen Grill. Holy crap the food was delicious!! De-lish-us. We then rolled all over OKC running errands and taking Seige back to his truck, and getting her stuff from Toys R Us, hauling stuff from her house to mine. She’s throwing me a housewarming party (at my house when I get in) and wants me to make wish lists, so we hit Target and I did one there and accidentally bought six pairs of shoes. I know. but we have new dress code at work and i needed some new stuff. six. good grief. i am a mess. Am also doing a wish list at walmart and perhaps linens and things/bed bath and beyond the freakin universe. Any other thoughts or ideas for me?

Sunday Funday wrapped up the weekend, I worked on the house a little today, painted a wicker table M’Lynn got me for the porch. Just tired. Tired.

Spring time in Oklahoma means weather. Thunderstorms and tornados and rotations and hail and holy crap we had all of it last night. I however, slept right through it! Ha!!

This week Rog and Ma are crossing the boarder so I get some face time with them! Bonusmom is leaving for her sister trip to Aruba tomorrow thru Sunday, so I’ll be on the frontier alone with the livestock…Oh get this. A client, not of mine, but another girls, has decided she wants to set me up with her brother. Huh. I said ok, whatever. made her my myspace friend so they could look at pictures. Pretty much figuring that to be the end of it, but whatever. He’s 29. That’s all I know. I’m open…would rather be asked out by another man…but methinks that this crush is just a crush and I should just give up any thoughts of it progressing to anything beyond friendship…so. I’m open. Maybe Client Brother will ask me out. One never knows.

I met with Dad this week and made a list of chores to get done and set a tentative schedule and work plan. He’s is going to come on the 9th and texture on the 9th and 10th. Dry for two days then begin painting. Now, all this is hinging on Sis’s launching of the Wonderbaby. It could be any day now. He’s turned head down, heartbeat is strong, he’s huge which is why she’s not feeling him move a lot, not much room to streach, so who knows. That will take at least one weekend out of the schedule. Either way, I’m moving one of the last two weekends of April. Furniture buying is in my near future. I have already painted the trim in the …have I already told you this?…huh. Oh well, the trim in the living room, dining room some hallway. I bought more supplies and MGirl, Mandrea and myself will commence to do work tomorrow night amidst cold beer and girl time.

Saturday night is SPENCE NIGHT!!! Going to the Loony Bin for some laughs. I’m so excited I could just wet myself right now. Details coming soon. Going to stay at the house this weekend to try to get some more working done.

Work has been good, busy. May make commission this time, so crossing fingers for that. Tomorrow is the first wax of the season. have decided to take the plunge, so to speak. That is never gonna feel good in process, but I have to say, the result is fabulous!

Oh what a week. I need a vacation. Seriously. But that isn’t in the cards so I’ll quit whining and get over it. Still trying to get over the sinus/allergy/funk, but despite that I stayed in my house last night!!! First Night! Spent the afternoon with Gert and Mgirl. Had a lovely Sunday Funday. We tried to furniture shop, alas, God doesn’t like furniture on Easter Sunday. So we had to eat and drink instead!! It was a grand time. Even Seige joined us, him with his in love loveliness. It was nice. It was really freakin nice to drive all of five minutes to my house and flop for the night! it was Glorious!

What have I been up to? besides not posting this week? Work work work. It was spring break and we were slammed. Ya’ll, I did FIVE PERMS last week. The hell is that about? Crazy. This week is busy as well. Now, I’ll take it. I need the money. but I’m tired. I didn’t spend any time at the house during the week. March Madness started on Thursday, so me and my brackets (which has since been shot all to hell) were at the bar for a few hours thurs night watching ball, friday we went to Gert’s new job to hang out with her and I watched ball, Saturday I was back at the bar watching ball….yep. tired. Today I got up and started painting the trim work and doors. I did the front door, inside view, the living room dining room and some hall way. I came home around 4:30 and did laundry and tried to get my life in order for the upcoming week.

I watched Dan in Real Life somewhere during the week. Ehhh. not so much. I have no country for old men and martian child, but just too tired to freaking watch!!! Hope to get those worked in this week.

Dad arrives tomorrow. We are walking thru the house, buying more supplies if needed, and making work plans. I want to get everything textured first, then painted, then moving in. Sis, keep in mind, is due to launch the second kid at any given moment. So we’ll see how this all meshes. I’m picking the arbitrary date of May 1st for when my life begins. I’ll let you know.

after all the weeks and months of stress and funk, I signed the papers on Monday, and got sick on Tuesday! Par for course. I was busy, and am busy all week. Came home last night and was asleep in the bed by 8. 13 hours of sleep and some cold pills is good for anything!
