Yesterday was perhaps the best Thanksgiving I’ve had in years. I cooked the meal, roasted turkey, herbed cornbread dressing, mashed potatos, roasted carrots and sweet potatos, citrus cranberry relish that Mom brought and homemade bread.

Mom and Bonusdad came and hung out, which was so nice to visit. Gert came, she made citrus souffle with rasberry sauce drizzle…DELISH!
I watched the parade. We giggled over the dog show. Football was on. We ate. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Mom and BD left for his family’s feast and Gert and Josie and I watched Dexter and yawned and slothed around.
I was full. Full of great food, of love from family and my best friend. Relaxed in my soft pants and t-shirt and no makeup all day long. It was perfect. I fell right asleep on the couch and awoke with the livestock on me, asleep. It was a full couch…
Today I work a few hours, getting a few clients in today. Tonight I bartend in Batshitcrazytown, which is good to ahve some extra money. I’m happy for that. I have a twinge of “i wish I’d taken off work and decorated the house today…But I’m off tomorrow for Bedlam and will perhaps get some stuff done tomorrow after the game.

Life IS good. That was nice to read in a blog today. 🙂 No Black Friday in Ontario but my nephew is coming over tonight. We will have a great night of computer games and TV then go out for breakfast in the morning I think. I'm looking forward to seeing him. 14 now and a high school boy. 🙂

Wasn't it the best Thanksgiving ever. NO one can do a bird up like you…You have your MeMe's gift for cooking and doing hair. I know she was smiling down on your colorful meal. (She always liked for her meals to have lots of different colors) You are so talented!!! We were so full at the other meal we went to we could hardly eat…but it was good to see everyone. Older neice is asst. manager at Arby's in Yukon now and working another job also. Little neice is still loud and now doing cheers (shake my little hips) I about died laughing..she is going to be a beauty, but is quite a tornado along with Eric's crew. Jordan is now 13 and so handsome.Shelly is director of Head Start for central and western OK. Has to go to the panhandle next week…is trying to finish college but is soooo busy. Barbara is worn thin with Eric's kids and her mom having Ahlzimers or however you spell it. Everyone missed Zelda and asked about you.Love,Mamo
