We floated the river. No cell phones. No Facebook. Nothing but the four of us, laughing and relaxing. Napping. Enjoying life. The river was crazy fast with all of the rain we’ve had, but we eeked out an entire day. No one got sunburnt, we were so good with the sunscreen…

This week is work work work. Getting things ready for Sunday’s party. I must do yard work. and since we’re up in the 100’s every day with our heat index, it’s early morning or later in the evening for those chores. The inside needs work too, but I can manage that a bit at a time. So excited to see friends on Sunday!

Gotta get ready to head to work. yeah yeah, I dont want to. I’d rather have another day. but that’s just how it is, I suppose.
