Mark: Does the hummus get cooked?

Me: no.

Mark: what’s that smell?

Me: I burnt the garlic in the microwave trying to thaw it a titch.

Mark: So is it done?

Me: Yes. Here try it.

Mark takes a bite on a pretzelthin.

Me: tastes exactly like french onion dip and Lays. right?

Mark:Vigorously shakes head and returns hummus container towards me.

Me: well, at least you didn’t spit it back out into my hand like you did the kale chip experiment.

Mark: well. those were *shudders as body convulses a bit.
